The most common kinds of fatal accidents to workers continue as falls from a height, struck by moving vehicle and struck by moving object, between them accounting for around 70% of fatal injuries to workers in 2023/24.

Lovely to be out conducting a lot Emergency First Aid at Work courses for a variety of businesses. Yes, that is a bra on a manikin 😂, your eyes are not deceiving you, but it was to educate on an important matter.

Fire Training
I really enjoyed being on-site delivering Level 2 Fire Safety training for key members of the team within two very different businesses. Being able to run the sessions in their workplaces meant we could review real-life scenarios and answer their questions in real time, focusing on what will help them most going forward.

Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Training Recently Conducted
The Asbestos Awareness course is designed to give you the knowledge you need to understand where asbestos might be found, recognise the health risks associated with exposure, know what to do (and what not to do) if you come across it, and stay legally compliant with HSE regulations.

Abrasive Wheels Training
I was recently sent a photo of a leg injury caused by an abrasive wheel. It was horrendous — and one I’ve now been given permission to use in my training decks. But here’s the thing, that image shouldn’t exist, and that injury shouldn’t have happened.

AED
Would your team know how to use an AED or even where to find one? In a cardiac arrest, every minute without action reduces survival chances by 10%. If your staff don’t know where to find the nearest AED or how to use it, vital minutes are lost — and the chain of survival is broken.
